Mark is a dedicated Henderson local, proud father of four grown-up children and very enthusiastic dog Reavo. His journey into the world of inspections and real estate began in 2017 when he earned his inspection license and completed an apprenticeship under the expert guidance of Master Inspectors Larry Perna and Chris Flannery. With a solid background in low voltage electronics inspections and extensive experience training hundreds of mechanics, Mark’s expertise is both vast and varied.
Before diving into the world of real estate and building inspections, Mark honed his skills in the construction, heavy equipment, and automotive electronics industries. This diverse foundation provided him with a unique perspective and a robust skill set that he carried into his subsequent roles.
Mark’s real estate career was marked by a specialization in property management, where he excelled in ensuring the efficient operation and upkeep of various properties. His passion for property management naturally transitioned into building inspections, where he has made significant contributions since joining the Southern Nevada Association of Professional Property Inspectors (SNAPPI) in 2017. Mark’s commitment to continuous education and his desire to help others led him to volunteer for the SNAPPI Board, where he shared his knowledge and experience with fellow inspectors.
In 2023, Mark’s dedication and leadership were recognized when he was elected President of SNAPPI. During his tenure, he worked tirelessly to enhance the standards and practices within the inspection community. In 2024, he transitioned to the roles of Past President and Secretary, continuing to influence the organization positively.
Mark’s career took another exciting turn in 2024 when he accepted a position as In-House Building Code Inspector with Boxabl in North Las Vegas, NV. This role has allowed him to elevate his expertise in building inspections and expand his knowledge through classroom education in the ICC (International Code Council) world. At Boxabl, Mark is passionately involved in helping the company achieve its mission of providing safe and affordable housing across the United States.
Currently, Mark thrives in his role at Boxabl, where his extensive background, from electronics to real estate, culminates in his commitment to ensuring quality and safety in housing solutions. His journey reflects a profound dedication to his profession and a relentless pursuit of excellence, making him a respected figure in the inspection and real estate communities.
